Recently, we have signed an agreement with the University of Huelva to implement a vision and quality control system for aluminium printing processes.
Improve the aluminium printing process
Torrent Group approached approached the University with the aim of identifying synergies in the field of technology as a way of setting a course for sustainable and lasting growth over time.
Thanks to our contact with the specialists of the Vision, Prediction, Optimization and Control Systems Research Group of the Higher Engineering School of Huelva, we have installed a specific visual inspection system, which consists of a trilinear CMOS colour sensor and integrated white LED lighting, ideal for scanning flat objects in colour at a resolution of 600 dots per inch.
The precision of this type of scanner enables excellent reproduction of colour and the perfect resolution without any additional effort in terms of configuration. The images generated by a contact sensor do not usually show distortion because its long line maps the object on a scale of 1:1.
Therefore, the quality of the colour printing for aluminium caps is practically perfect. This is how we ensure the success of the prepress in the decoration for aluminium caps.
